Designed for educators who are or will be expected to assess a range of students. (AAC is not covered)
This is the final course is for AT Assessors (after taking How to Speak AT & AT Basics) and goes much deeper into assessing student whom you don’t serve. Learn to write AT reports that meet legally defensible standards. This is the Full Monty. You do a full assessment on at least 2 students. Lean how to write reports for litigious cases and look deeper at AT needs of more complex students.
If you attend, do the activities and participate in this course; in addition to the outcomes of the first 2 courses, you will be able to:
- Demonstrate the skills to determine the AT needs 2 or more students by writing a legally defensible reports incorporating rationale, findings, and appropriate recommendations.
- Distinguish between the benefits of free access tools and commercially available products.
- Demonstrate knowledge of a full range of AT tools and how to integrate them into daily access.
